Action and Support
Conrad Humanitarian Aid is promoting education and awareness raising activities worldwide with the goal of eliminating the cultural roots of female genital mutilation. We collaborate with local communities to change societal attitudes towards female genital mutilation through education and advocacy efforts.
Education and Advocacy: We provide educational seminars and training courses to educate women, men, community leaders, and health professionals on the dangers and legal consequences of FGM, as well as the importance of women's rights. Psychological Health Support: Provide psychological and social support to survivors of FGM, helping them deal with post-traumatic stress disorder and other mental health issues.
Legal and policy advocacy: Promote stricter laws and policies at the international and national levels to prohibit female genital mutilation and protect women and girls from such harm. Collaboration and Partnership: Collaborate with other non-governmental organizations, government agencies, and international organizations to work together to end female genital mutilation.
